Call for Municipal Grant Program Applications
Chester County Board of Commissioners is pleased to announce Round 22 of the Municipal Grant program. These grants are designed to encourage projects that are consistent with landscapes, linking landscapes, and watersheds. Londonderry Township Commemorative Cookbooks Now Available
Londonderry Township Commemorative Cookbooks are available at the township building. The cookbooks will be sold, PRIOR to the 275th Anniversary Celebration on June 20, 2009, at $13.00 each. At the Celebration on June 20th and thereafter the price of the cookbooks will be $15.00 each. So purchase your cookbook early, save $2.00, enjoy the recipes, and reap the compliments from family and friends.

Come Celebrate Londonderry Township's 275th Anniversary

Londonderry Historical Committee cordially invites you to come and help us celebrate Londonderry Township's 275th anniversary. The celebration will kick-off with a harp concert presented by he Brandywine Harp Orchestra on Friday, June 19th 7:30 pm at Faggs Manor Presbyterian Church, 505 Street Rd., Cochranville, PA
The fun will continue on Saturday, June 20th 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Londonderry Township building, 103 Daleville Rd., Cochranville, PA. Charlie Zahm, Celtic singer, will be with us along with Tad Marks, Oxford School of Dance, historic displays of life in Londonderry, Philip Edwards' indian artifacts found in Londonderry Meadowset Farm, an apiary honey bee display, as well as Stillwater Fibers weaving and spinning demonstrations, Canine Partners for Life, native tree display and tree sales, and lots of activities for the kids. There will also be hay rides, a pig roast, chicken, and Clair's Famous Ice Cream.
We look forward to seeing you and celebrating this milestone in Londonderry's history!!!!

2009 Transfer Station Permit Applications
Applications are now available at the municipal building or at the transfer station through Mr. Simpson. Permit fees remain at $150.00 per household and $300 for multiple-resident farms. Office hours for the township are Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.

Clothing Drop-Off for Salvation Army
SECCRA now hosts two Salvation Army clothing drop-off containers. These containers are located next to the recycling drop-off containers at the SECCRA community landfill. Residents of the SECCRA Community are invited to drop off their unwanted clothing during the landfill’s regular hours.
